Shipwrecked
Surviving the shipwreck is Robinson Crusoe looking tired and worn with a tilt of his head, clothed in a diagonal grass dress and a hat upon his head as he looks out to sea perhaps wondering how long he'll be left on these sandy shores. Sitting obediently at his heels is the Captains black dog with his head raised up, the two cats must've wandered off.
As bitter winds begin to soar, waves crashed upon the beach, rain starts to fall and the temperature begins to drop. The only cover is a driftwood hut built amongst the sand dunes, the open air kind with a drop down floor for sleeping on but with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean when the weather plays its part.
Beach art and my imagination have got the better of me........someone's been busy creating over the Easter break.
Our day was drab today which was why I thought of mono, kind of lifted the mood a little and set the sculpture off.
Lovely to stop by the beach with my mum, walkingS enjoying a chat over lunch and do what we do on Thursday's our grocery shop.
Thank you for yesterday's lovely words, stars and hearts for my little Katydid, I'm delighted you enjoyed it.
Happy Thursday everyone :)
