Wall Hanging

I thought I would show you this wall hanging that my hubby brought back from Japan a few years ago.  It is painted on silk and depicts the fishermen returning with the days catch, some more successful than others.  There is a whole story to go with this but sadly I do not know it.  Hubby was told at the time, but as the Japanese speak very little English it got lost in translation.  If anybody does know please let me know.
