Hard luck, aphid !

This is not one of my ladybirds. Mine just ignore the greenfly and such creatures. This one was in Pipe Hall Heathland where I called to take a few photos after I got home from visiting my aunt in her new care home in Salford.

She is doing really well. She was miles better than when I saw her last, in hospital after a suspected stroke. She was sitting up, smiling, with life and energy in her eyes and she recognised me. Yes, she was confused. But she is 90 and she has been through a lot. She didn't seem at all bothered by the woman in the next chair who kept yelling, "Bugger off". She was watching what was going on and the staff were super. I'd go to see her more often but it is a long way from Lichfield.
