The Repertor

The Repertor is a Thames sailing barge. We passed her moored up today as we went on a 5 mile long Two Creeks walk near Faversham. 

We took the train to Faversham and set off from the station out into the quite wild and marshy creeks, stopping off at The Shipwrights Arms for a slap up feed.

When we got back into the town we met up with Helen and after going home with her to meet Hugh, one of their sons, their dogs and horses, went out to The Alma with them for dinner. They then dropped us back at Sittingbourne station and we had an even shorter journey home.
It was sunny and mild and we didn't need coats all day - fabulous!
