Meanders

No craft group this afternoon so after work I went to get some more compost (the council make it from our garden rubbish and sell it for a small fee).
Next to the recycling site is Riverside Park, a nature area on the site of the old landfill and next to the river.
The warm weather has brought out the blossom and leaves on the hedges though there weren't many flowers yet in the meadows.
Looking west across Invergowrie Bay the burn was meandering across the mud and various birds were calling.
After depositing my compost in the raised beds I was at the surgery for my MOT - all clear apart from a skin lesion that needs to be removed at some stage.
