a pair of picnickers

Another glorious day weather-wise so we took lunch to the park. Eve was thoroughly delighted when I produced a china cup for my flask of tea and it would appear that ham sandwiches taste so much better when they are carried down the road. I'm amazed at how easy it is to please little people - such a joy.

Eve is now in the kitchen making a "secret" cake. She keeps coming to tell me where they're up to with "mummy's secret cake". I can hear her trying to persuade her Dad to omit sugar from the recipe, how very health conscious!
