Crocky Trail
Today we visited the Crocky Trail near Chester with M, K and one of K's friends. It was another beautiful day with temperatures edging up towards 17 degrees and it appeared that everybody else in the Cheshire area had had the same idea as us! It was absolutely heaving but the kids enjoyed themselves anyway.
If you've never heard of it there is a trail around the edge of a field with loads of bridges which crisscross a stream. Some of the bridges are harder than others to cross and lots of people had fallen in - some I suspect on purpose! As well as bridges, there is a rope swing and other things to keep kids entertained. When you've finished the trail (or before it) there are a selection of slides and rides. Some of these are quite dangerous but the kids loved it. This barrel that the boys are in was turning as they ran through it. At the back you can just make out M who has fallen over. Once you're down it's very hard to get back up and we found this hysterical as he couldn't stay upright inside it.
It was an enjoyable and tiring day out - a welcome day away from XBoxes, tablets and computer games!
