Miniatures World - Wroxham

Now this is my kind of day out .. when you stumble on one of those quirky little attractions that has to try to make a living in the shadow of a tourist attraction.

We went to Miniatures World in Wroxham today, as the weather was supposed to be dodgy. We found in the list of attractions in the folder Ruth had left in the caravan. It comes very highly recommended if you are in the area.

It is basically one big warehouse full of enormous train sets! Big boys toys on a big boy scale! They are currently planning to build the world largest self running train set there .. it will take an unbelievable 18 months to complete!

Each set comes with a list of items to find in the layout. I spent the first half an hour trying to find the TARDIS in the layout pictured!

They also had a self running Scaletrix set going. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, before having a wander around Wroxham itself.

A great way to end the last full day of the holidays!
