Wide-angle Wednesday Up close and personal

I'm enjoying my new wide-angle lens...it isn't an expensive one, but it's fun to play with.

This is a geranium I thought was done, but I brought it indoors anyway, and look at it go!!!  

I like the effect that the blossom is floating free of the rest of the photo.

The white pattern behind it is a wicker plant stand that belonged to my grandmother....and I hope to pass it along to one of the grandchildren!
