Arriving

Before we left Mum's we managed to catch up with another family friend over a cup of tea in the garden. Mum went racing off to a talk about Richard III (apparently he is all the rage on the history group scene at the moment). We rattled over Aldwalk bridge and joined the A1 north moving between one average speed check zone to another, all the way to Alnwick. We stopped at Barter's Books for lunch (it's well worth a visit), and trundled our way back to Edinburgh.
