Viking Sheep
I attended an open casting for an upcoming series of the "Vikings" in the Grand Hotel in Wicklow town at nine o'clock in the morning having traversed the manic M50 only to find a large carpark full of viking hopefuls already passively waiting their turn. I sagely declined the probable five hour wait in the carpark and chose a meet with Fluffikens instead. We went to Aughrim with the hope of a few photos of young lambs in the fields. This lamb reminded me of the not so savage vikings in the Grand hotel carpark.
I returned later in the day to the hotel and managed to register in twenty minutes which was, luckily, the right option for me. I was number 2286 on the day!!!! but my hope is that they are looking for some older, grizzled men than the hordes of six foot plus twenty year olds much in evidence. My day was better spent with Fluffikens in either event...Now sitting by my phone patiently waiting my call up....just saying
