Turnips galore
Our top field has been rented out to a large sheep farmer who looks for winter grazing. He planted turnips for them to eat and the field now looks like a desert in the sunshine! These were the poor unfortunate animals the gypsy was aiming at with his slingshot in the daylight just after the burglarly a few nights ago. The field will be empty in a few days' time when the farmer has to move them. Maize will then be planted for the autumn.
