Holiday reading

So a leopard cannot change its spots.  I may be much less likely to buy books in a bookshop nowadays, but I still cannot resist a bargain - especially a book one.

I was (somewhat foolishly) introduced to a website that sends you daily emails about free ebooks.  The result is a large number of books acquired - mainly free, a few for 99p or maybe as much as £1.99 - for the Kindle over the last couple of weeks.  But yesterday was the first time I had switched my Kindle on for a while, because I've been reading a paper book.

It downloaded 2 pages of new books.  That should keep me occupied for the holiday, I think.
