finding Nemo

I wake in the middle of the night to an incredible roaring sound.  It turns out to be a torrential downpour.  It’s a relief - at first I thought it was the sound of people in the UK laughing.

Milo is confused - no ocean walk today.  He doesn’t mind the wet - he’s a water dog.  It’s the humans whose spirits are dampened.

When it rains, it rains.  The roads are flooded, cars are skidding; the road surfaces here cannot cope with water - there’s nowhere for it to go.

We feel bit like that - where to go on a wet day?  In the school holidays?  We do what everyone else does - visit the Aquarium.

We’re here with G&M and their daughter (and her sons) and every other parent/grandparent/childminder in Perth.  It’s dark, noisy and full of strange creatures.  The exhibits are quite strange too.

This little fellow appears to be looking for something.
