Stone and Crow

I do like this image of a crow sitting on stop of an old standing stone in the hills of rural Perthshire. It's in Auchingarrich wildlife centre to be specific. Auchingarrich was a working farm for many years and before that - who knows? There is certainly lots of evidence of early human settlement in this area and the hills to the North are  supposedly the ones that the 9th Roman Legion marched into and were never seen again
