Ice Cavers

Nana and Grandad picked us up from the airport this morning.
After lunch we went to the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch.  We saw 2 films in 4D, we got sprayed with water and there were bubbles for snow.  Also our chairs moved. It was great!
We had to put coats on and slippery overshoes to go in the snow room, there was a terrible storm.  The wind speed was 42.6 km's per hour, temperature -18 deg.  Then we went to the penguin feeding and one little blue penguin was really greedy.

We all went on a Hagglund ride. It was very bumpy and we drove over very steep hills, down the other side, through a 3 metre deep pond and then over a metre wide crevasse.
