Apple Grove

For 15 years I have driven past the Apple Grove property on Shipley Road.  Initially the field was just a bare paddock without a tree to be seen.  It's been fantastic to watch it develop and at the moment it's an absolute picture with the trees wearing their glorious autumn clothes.  It was quite dark by the time we arrived at the property to take a shot this afternoon but I quite like it - the colours seems so rich and moody.

It's been really wet and cold the past three days and the fire has been lit for the first time since last winter.  It looks like we might be in for a really really spell.  Might have to think about heading north for a while!!
