Anyone for shortbread?
A few weeks ago I shared a virtual cappuccino with a blipper in Finland, so I thought I would reciprocate by offering a slice of shortbread to anyone out there in blipland.
For anybody who doesn't know, shortbread is a traditional Scottish biscuity treat made with flour (I use plain, self-raising and cornflour), butter and sugar. Sometimes it is baked in a wooden mould with a thistle design carved into it, but I don't possess one of them.
It goes quite nicely with a cup of tea. Any takers?
Sorry, folks, just a piece each left for my friend and me. All gone!
