Hope

Tonight's walk was a quiet one.
It was not great news from the doctor today for a family member.
More questions than answers but the answers we received were not happy ones.
So we made a plan to take the future one step at a time.
And then we went for an evening walk.
Voila- the brilliant yellow flowers of a palo verde tree.
Hope blooms.
How can we not have hope- it is all there ever is...
