Messy Resurrection

We had a fabulous Messy Easter at church today. Over 70 children and their carers took part, and I was busy on "my" activity all the time, so pretty much forgot the photo taking. This was my Easter biscuit, snapped before everyone arrived. I love seeing the church buzzing so much.
There was little in the way of still time to reflect today on Good Friday but the message of the Cross was well and truly and messily clear.
I managed a little quiet time this afternoon though and enjoyed my mums homemade hot cross buns, and prepared myself for Easter.
