More surprises
The 'ancient aunt's' garden continues to surprise and delight her. First there were snowdrops, then the lovely golden daffs I blipped last week, and now there are these beautiful small tulips, only about 6 inches high, pushed up through the turf we had had laid over a flower bed (thinking it was still the veg patch) and some less common daffodils now in bloom along the fence.
The previous tenants were very keen gardeners so we have no idea what delights are in store as the year progresses, but there is definitely a buddleia, a peony and some roses - oh, and rhubarb ready now and delicious!
