All about the flowers!!

Another gorgeous day of clear blue skies and sunshine! Quick walk with Portly Lucy then off to Cotehele - sister said there would not be much out - silly fool!! Told her so far I had done the snowdrops, then the crocus and now it would all be about the daffodils, primroses and fritillaries - and I was so right! 
Apparently across the country bulb growers and horticulturists are concerned at the amount of daffodils coming up blind, and in the woods this is obvious - but not at Cotehele - daffodils stretched out in all their different varieties all over the place! The fritillaries were similarly dense and this year white predominated. I studiously tried to avoid taking any other type of photographs but flowers , but I just love beehives! Plus the rather friendly cat! I did take 2 sculptures in the Mother Orchard but will take them again another day!
Only downside today was my sardines on toast - forgot the pesky bones which I could  feel as soon as I put a forkful in my mouth, plus someone decided the salad would benefit from a liberal dousing with red onion! Yuk! But the lemon curd ice-cream cone after another walk was heavenly!!
So day 3 still smiling!!
Tomorrow hospital with friend to get scan results - I'm not optimistic for some reason and so hope I'm wrong.
