Peaceful end

Today started off with an early climb up Sirigiya - a 400 mt vertical buttress.  The metal stairs, bolted to the mountain side, did little to ease the feeling of nausea as we climbed into the clouds.

To help us relax, we later visited the Cave Temples of Dambulla where we saw an impressive array of Buddhas, like this one...
