Day 73 - Powder Stash

We set off for a short ski tour at the back of the ski area today with no fixed plan, just looking for some nice snow to ski. We found this lovely back bowl with no tracks in it, and no crust on the north facing aspects. I took a lot of photos on the climb up, but as I've published quite a lot of that type of shot this season I thought I'd go for an action shot. That's my ski pal Brian, it was tough for him to let me ski down before him, but his reward was this photo of him looking pretty dam good in the powder. In my head I looked every but as good as him on my way down. It was a fantastic feeling to ski up there.
