Aspect Ratios

The first of a projected series using the camera's inbuilt aspect ratios to try & provide "on-the-spot cropping". Here you see 16:9 (widescreen TV) to put drama into the portrait.
What I learned:
1/ the portrait needs an element of interest in the right hand space. A contrail would be ideal, but I don't have one on tap to slip in.
2/ the light is not interesting. It would have been much better, say, an hour earlier. But an hour earlier I was at night class
