The kid had her big birthday party.

And the good ole English Bank Holiday Weather © did not disappoint.

Luckily the kid had a super excellent time and feedback was great from her little crew, and thanks to the power and design of nature the copse of evergreens gave them the perfect wonderland to party and get up to hijinks under the tutorship of her daddy-oh...whilst I ran around faffing about with french fancies, forgetting to drink my coffee twice and slightly flirting with the wonderful proprietor of the Ally Pally Grove Cafe and hearing his life story.

I just wondered if I should have included a bottle of stain remover in the party bags too - but dirty mud splattered kid = happy kid.
