We need to be connected to the grid but I'd like it better if they were underground. Maybe that's a bit 'out of sight out of mind' though and we need to be reminded of our power consumption. A new line of even more giant pylons is being constructed locally (and many, many miles to the north). Information about this controversial project here

Another lovely day and the last of the extended long weekend. Spent time in the garden then had a walk along the river at South Alloa. There were lambs, spring flowers, small fishing boats but I decided to go for the gritty reality today
