projects

So I'm up and about most of the day at this stage. Still moving very slowly and hurting myself with basic movements, but too restless to stay in bed all day. Today was spent tuning all my bikes and then starting a wee restoration project that has been on the cards for a few years. This is my grandfathers fixie, made by him when he was about 20 - roughly 1936. Last person to ride it was my Dad - he managed to snap the handle bars in half near the top of Haywards Hill in Wellington. Long ride home no hands...
