In the morning the people that operate my dad's pendant alarm phoned to say it had gone off and they couldn't get a response, so I quickly made my way to theirs. He must have pressed it by accident. Mum was annoyed that  had happened and said she would have picked the phone up; sadly she is deafer than she will admit and doesn't hear it ring. Ho Hum!
