Scissor Sisters new CD 'Magic Hour' was released on Monday.

Available as a download, a standard cd, a deluxe cd/dvd or a signed deluxe edition.

The S.S. have been performing at various racecourses in the U.K.

Perhaps that's what gave them the inspiration for their latest song Only the Horses.

Andthey've announced a string of dates in the autumn too.

All indoors.

Well with our climate that's probably the best option.

Mrs blip has booked & bought tickets for the Barrowlands, this will be the 10th time I've seen them.

It should've been the 11th but when the M8 froze over in Dec 2010 police and the band advised people not to travel through as conditions were treacherous.

However the tour promoters had other ideas and instead of cancelling the show at the SECC as they had been asked, they had the band perform to the 4000 or so 'locals' that did turn up and then refused to refund the 4000+ people who couldn't get to the gig.

Nice, NOT!

Here's hoping there's no repeat this time round.
