Mono Monday - Earth

All things evolve.  Nothing ever stays the same.  Even the most beautiful places on earth will change, the most beautiful structures of man will fall apart and blow away.  All return to dust and earth.   But with every death, new life emerges. 

These are the remnants of a very popular spa and resort dating back to the 1920's.  Where I am standing is the middle of the hot springs pool.  In the distance is the fireplace from what once was a beautiful lodge.  Famous people used to flock here to enjoy the beauty of the area and the delightful waters.  They are no more.
