The black dog syndrome
Did you ever hear of the "black dog syndrome?" Today on my walk in the park, I didn't see any black dogs, but I had the opportunity to photograph several red-winged blackbirds. Those birds are such a deep rich black that they are very hard to photograph without losing all the detail in their feathers. That's the black dog syndrome. It's a major challenge I am still fighting to overcome. If you want to see more of my pictures from today, including more blackbirds, check out my blog post here.
