Mono Monday : Earth

Today we took a ramble through Central Park. We thought we might go to a museum but the weather was so wonderful it was hard to go inside.

We started with a picnic, then walked by the reservoir, and down thru the ramble and to the zoo. A beautiful day.

I was surprised by all the huge rock formations in the park. I chose this one for the challenge because it really seems to me that the Earth is erupting into the city. And today it was a welcome intrusion as the populace flooded every rock, grassy spot, bench and path to soak up the spring sun and revel in the warm temperatures.
