Back Blip #1 - Horses!

Another proud daddy day.

English saddle today sized for children.

CC and Giorgio's instructor let them ride on their own today after practicing for 15 minutes on the indoor ring and then 15 minutes outside in the open over the snow covered trail.  Never too far away from a helping hand, but important enough for them to have had their very first experience of riding a horse on their own.  ch-ch! to go, hands down to trot, whoa to stop pulling up on the reins, turn left and turn right with a pull on the reins.  CC was so gassed afterwards she wanted to get off the horse on her own half sliding down the side before the instructor caught her just in time.  lol, way to go CC!!

6 1/2 hours to drive back the normal 3 1/2.  Easter is over.  Apparently for everyone guessing by the numbers of cars on the road.  Where we were in the mountains was SO uncrowded.  The opposite of crowded.
