Swans

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday, I headed over to the market in Stockbridge and picked up a couple things before grabbing a couple pints, I decided to head back to Leith and see if I could find somewhere to enjoy a beer outside. 

Predictably The Shore bars were packed with customers spilling out onto the street, (most of them have a few seats/tables on the pavement) and in many cases across the street to the water side where people were sitting on the river's edge enjoying a drink. I headed along The Shore and across the swing bridge, there were quite a few swans paddling around, which is when I took this image.

I headed over to Teuchters Landing, they have the largest outdoor seating area in Leith and I hoped there might be a free seat, predictably it was mobbed but everybody was around the "front" in the sunshine so I managed to get a seat at one of the two small tables outside in the "back", beside the main entrance to enjoy another beer. Although it was out of the sun it was still pleasant to sit outside for a change.
