Fir Cones

Another warm spring day and a walk through Middlethird and on to the reservoir. Trees replanted in recent years are steadily gaining height and many are quite laden with golden coloured cones. Some have fallen but many still cling to the trees and they looked superb today in the sunshine against blue skies
