Carabiner Of Forgotten Significance

Many years ago I took part in a corporate team building event over in Scottsdale, Arizona. Part of it involved everyone having a carabiner and I’m sure a long rope was involved too but I can’t remember what it was all about. We kept the carabiners and I have since made one into a lead for our dog, pictured is the other one that has spent most of it’s existence clipped to the end of our wine rack.
