Childhood Playground

His blip the other day of Penicuik House brought back memories of playing round there.

So this morning SWMBO and I went for a walk.

The house (which burnt down in 1899) is in a better condition now than it was when I was a kid ........... no trees growing out to the top, the outer walls no longer about to become inner floors, the stonework having been cleaned -- things like that.
