Arthur's Seat seen from Dalgety Bay
We were meant to go to West Lothian on the Spokes Ride, but unforeseen circumstances meant I had to change the destination at the last minute. So we went to Aberdour in Fife.
A glorious Easter Sunday, the warmest day of the year, in fact the warmest since October last year. You get some lovely views scross the Forth, but I waited until the ride home to take some photos.
This one is from Dalgety Bay looking at Arthur's Seat across the Firth of Forth shows just how lovely it was.
Dalgety Bay is, unfortunately, currently out of bounds. This is because at the end of World War 2, planes were dumped in to the sea and covered over. These planes had dials that glowed in the dark, which were made from radioactive materials. These materials have leaked out, so the MoD will have to spend several million pounds cleaning up the bay over the next three years.
