Will you marry me?

Today was fantastic, and it was even better for Gretel, who answered "yes!" to Barry, as you can see from her body language. I struck it lucky: I was visiting my closest childhood friend, K, and her large warm family when we learned that Barry planned to propose to her sister Gretel this very day. He wanted the entire clan to be witness to their promise, so the camping holiday reunion was a perfect choice. First, with their respective children by his side, he asked permission from Gretel's father for her hand in marriage. Given! Then the children were pressed into (secret) service... dragging driftwood from the lagoon beach to create a winding path, dotted with wildflowers, leading to a large heart shape, in which Barry and the children waited while the unknowing Gretel was sent on a paper chase. Finally, one of the letters led her to her dad, who walked her down the pathway and into Barry's arms. 

Heather and I go camping ourselves tomorrow. See you on Friday!
