Traffic jam :-(

You and I have seen this too many times before.

A flying visit to my mother today 260 miles away in Darlington. Up on Friday, back on Sunday.

The journey that used to take 4 hours 40 minutes took 7 hours today. Too much traffic and too many road works - three separate sets on the M1/A1, each 15-20 miles long with speeds restricted to 50 mph.

A frustrating way to spend Good Friday.
