Supersized Spade

This rather large spade is in the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr in Harrogate. Looks are deceptive as it is, in fact, approximately 9 or 10 feet tall.
Perched on top is a lovely metal bird sculpture by local artist Steve Blaylock.

Here is my blip from last summer when I photographed another big iron bird that is perched outside the artist's workshop.
