Notice how much grainer the scan of this Tri-X negative is, compared with those of the XP2-Super, that was used the day before, and after it. It's better to scan prints of most Black & White films rather than the negatives - so I'm told. XP2-Super is different, being a Chromogenic film, that can be processed via normal colour negative (C41) chemistry.
