Let there be Light

Today we went to Hurst Castle and Lighthouse for a day trip.  We drove to Keyhaven after my husband finished a short shift at work, and took the Ferry across to the castle.

The weather was glorious and the children enjoyed exploring the castle and seeing the lighthouse before we headed to the beach area for them to play their usual game of throwing pebbles into the sea.

I took some gorgeous photos, but today have held back from my usual seaside blip and gone for something a little bit different.

This is one of the old lights that is on display within the castle.
