Gravestone, Monikie Churchyard

Believing that the best weather would be southwards, along the coast, we headed out for a drive today that eventually took us past the Kirk at Monikie, a few miles inland from Monifieth and Carnoustie, in Angus.

Stopping out of curiosity, we were amazed to find this and several other intricately carved tombstones in the graveyard.
