Reflection

Today has been a mixed bag of tasks and emotions. I got up early and made a head start on my book keeping so I can get my 2011-2012 tax return filed and checked off my to-do list. It took longer than expected as I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist, I wanted all my invoices and receipts filed in an orderly fashion to match my accounts (just in case the HMRC should want to inspect them one day)!

Once that was done I sat in the garden with a coffee. It's the 5th anniversary of my dad's passing soon and so hard to believe that he has been gone for that long. I still miss him every single day as does my poor mum, who sadly seems a bit lost at the moment.

It's a strange feeling realising how people can transiently come and go in your life, some you expect to see almost everyday, others never again.
