Cross-curricular day today and the most mental day ever in the art department!

This is Maths crossed with Art - the students pressed maths designs based on islamic tiles into wet sand and then poured plaster in to make a relief.

Did any of the students listen to my explanations about mixing plaster? Probably not but it was excellent fun and the results look brilliant!
