A day of two halves

Been very emotional today or 'totes emosh' in Essex-speak. Had a bad dream, woke up on the wrong side of the bed, then a close friend upset me. It felt like it was just going to be one of those days.

But by the strike of midday, the day has transformed! Got a call to say my new car had arrived early and would be ready to collect new week. Husband cancelled his plans to go out this evening in favour of taking me out to the cinema to cheer me up instead (husband points accrued).....

We watched, 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' which was a silly film with no discernible plot but just what I needed today!

Spotted this ball pool in the kids creche by the cinema complex. Told my husband that we are "never going there". He just laughed and said "we'll see".
