Easter

What a gorgeous day it's been. The kind of day it feels impossible to stay inside. So, Mum, G and I hastily packed a picnic and drove to the coast for a few hours by the sea. It was so lovely walking along the beach, feeling the sun on our backs. Over our picnic lunch, we were entertained by an unfortunate man attempting his maiden voyage in his very unsuitable canoe. It was hilarious seeing him repeatedly beach, and eventually capsize!
We spent the afternoon back at Mum's doing chores and eating Easter cake, all feeling very relaxed and revived by the sunshine.
