The House Finches are back!

The House Finches are back!   This Crab apple tree is used as a resting/staging/sheltering post for most of our backyard birds - the black-oiled Sunflower seed feeder is only about 25' away.  Sometimes I think this tree should be called a Finch Tree or a Cardinal Tree as its branches have dozens of these red birds perched among them.  You'll see today we had a light snowfall.  I took pics of a Cardinal and grey squirrel earlier today, was pleased with myself how I had caught them in my viewfinder - well, I gave myself a pat on the back too soon as when I tried to view the pics in my camera - the dreaded message appeared - NO CF CARD!!!
